Can't see the champions being anything other than Man Utd or Chelsea no matter how much Liverpool have spent. Reckon Liverpool will have bought too many and will suffer from the 'time to settle' problem. Top half outside those 3 likely to be Arsenal, Everton, Spurs, Newcastle (barring injuries but if you sign for them you have to expect to get injured), Portsmouth & Blackburn. Reckon there's going to be quite a few teams battling relegation. The 3 that came up are going to struggle. Fulham are turning into Northern Ireland and didn't show much last year to suggest they'll stay up. If Yakubu goes from Middlesborough they'll be stuffed. Outside tip for relegation are Bolton, we'll see how much big Sam held them together. It will be interesting to see how Man City do with Sven at the helm. Mind you if their owner is as dodgy as all the reports then they might end up as the next Leeds.
1st Man Utd 2nd Chelsea 3rd Liverpool 4th Spurs
17th Bolton 18th Sunderland 19th Fulham 20th Derby

Hope Reading and Wigan don't go down, good to see some smaller clubs in there. Reading could fall into the same trap as Everton have done when they've played in europe. Depends if Coppell does what he said last year and doesn't put out full strength sides.

Hi everyone,
My predictions for the end of season rankings are as follows:
1st Man Utd 2nd L/pool 3rd Chelski 4th Tootenham 5th Arsenal 6th Newcastle
Followed on by 'In no apparent order' Villa, Pompey, Everton and Man city, Blackburn all fighting for remaining euro places
At the bottom i would like to see everton start an ever decreasing spiral to the polycell league!! wishfull thinking 'maybe there is a god' no offence phil but you know the score!
17th West Ham 18th Bolton 19th Wigan 20th Derby
L/pool will win either league or FA cup maybe both and get to quarter finals in Europe. Man utd will win league and get to Euro final but lose. Arsenal will have a massive reality check in all comps and fail to win anything and have a battle for euro placement. Chelsea will finish 3rd causing mourinho to resign and go to either AC or Real!! causing unrest with players. Newcastle will win a domestic trophy and big sam will be named manager of season!
And the transcendentals will win all fantasy leagues entered 'Again'!

Might have to rethink Spurs if their defence plays like that but they were playing the mighty Everton!! Top of the league for a day at least!

Think Spurs are well and truly buggered for the top 4 now. Also Arsenal are looking far better than I thought they'd be. West Ham and Man City are also showing that it helps to spend a load of money.

Frankly, the anticipation is killing me. Michigan has started back to back seasons with a 5-0 record, but finished last season with just two wins in their last eight contests, including a bowl loss. This season looks to be a bit different. The former spread offense is replaced by the pro-style offense, the 3-3-5 defense being replaced by the 4-3 base defense, and the seniors leading the team out of the tunnel. Michigan will live and die with their defense, as Brady Hoke made it known that his defense would be his prime focus. Although the offense will probably not be a top five offense this year, Hoke's offense will be a much appreciated return to the power running game. Season openers present interesting challenges for head coaches as they must decide how much of their offensive playbook they will open up. funny pics
